Scanter 2001
Scanter 2001 is an operating in X-Band Airport Surface Detection Radar (SMR).
The SCANTER 2001 Transceiver product range supports 6 system configurations; ranging from a basic single Transceiver unit to a Dual Redundant Frequency Diversity configuration. The transmitter tube is pulsed magnetron controlled from a solid-state magnetic modulator. Programmable pulse repetition rates may be selected individually. The antenna is a slotted waveguide antenna with narrow beam and low sidelobe level. The antenna feed system (including a waveguide rotary joint) offers a low-standing wave ratio at the input flange. For airport applications, circular polarised antennas are recommended.
