Ferrite Isolators

An isolator is a ferrite device that can be constructed so that it allows microwave energy to pass in one direction but blocks energy in the other direction. In this case a terminator is attached to connection 3 converting the reflected energy of the connection 2 in heat. The desired signal direction of the connection 1 to connection 2 passed through the isolator.
